Gent's it appears that America is dealing with people with arrested development and non-altruistic motivation. When a person reaches 18, legally an adult, doesn't mean their mind is at that level. Listening to "our" three and those Democrats in Congress appear juvenile at best. The age at which a person becomes an alcoholic is when a person's emotional development stops. A 16 YO is frozen in time [fit] regardless of their chronological age. Their ability to reason logically and congruently is hampered a great deal. Factor in other drug use and it staggers the mind!
Our nation is going thru a time that will test our metal and eject the slag. America has always come thru it and will again as this administration continues to heat the caldron. The left's rhetoric is showing their base metal and America is not in tune with it. Locally people who voted for Obama are questioning the ability of the Democratic Party to do the "right" thing and are looking at the Trump administration to do this. As a "firewall" the Senate continues to confirm Constitutional Judges that follow the Constitution, not the "feeling" of the party. This is what is galling to the Democrats and their is not a darn thing the Democrats can do about it!

Which ties back into narcissm -- what a narcist believes is true. Reality must conform to whatever he says it is. We see that with our own narcissists.

Funny you should say that, Clark. It calls to mind this David Frum quote, from a January 2018 article in the Atlantic Monthly. Frum as most of you know is a Republican Never Trumper. His brand of conservatism is deeply out of fashion these days. Anyways, to the quote:

One hears hints of Frum's prediction around here, with some of the posters talking about how the US is a republic and not a democracy. Also worth noting, but already widely known, a great many southern Democrats switched to the GOP as a reaction to civil rights legislation and court rulings at the Federal level.

America is watching what the National Socialists are really about. Pelosi is slowing losing control as AOC and that party's wing is becoming prevalent. Confound, confuse, lie is their talking points. Disagree and a false label is applied while the National Socialist continue to try and destroy America. National Socialists will poke fun to try and lessen the truth of their opponents.
National Socialists will try and use any means to smoke screen the National Socialists means of subterfuge. Watching the "news" with their version of "truth" which is actually not.
