"INFESTED." According to ABC & PBS News, it's a covert racist reference to "people of color," so be careful how you use it. Don't say, for ex., "that part of town is infested with rats," because it means you think blacks are no different than rats, human rats.
Newest "racially insensitive" word.

Also don't use the "W" word -- we are Pigmentally Challenged. -
Do you? As a social group? Think they're different?Last edited by togor; 07-28-2019, 05:24.Comment

In their general values & philosophy of life? OF COURSE! Was it not YOU who contrasted blacks who were "culturally white" (rare specimens, I might add) with their "natural" culture?
But what does this have to do with the media's demonization of "infested" because Trump has used the word to describe, factually, an out of control rat population?Comment

Trump was crystal clear on his description but if the people of Baltimore think that the term rat infested implies to them then they must be thinking along the same lines themselves. You can't fix stupid.Comment

CF, everyone knows when Trump is speaking to and about blacks like that, his real audience is whites, and that hair splitting over words is incidental to his real purpose, which is to let folks like you to know that folks like them are not gonna call the shots on his watch. I mean, message delivered, so I don't know why we need to keep having these threads where people complain about blacks but not in a racist way or anything like that. Heaven forbid!!Comment

And which "plain truth" is that? I've already described the real purpose of language, which is to reassure his white supporters that if any of the coloreds get uppity, then he, Donald Trump, will smack them down hard. What else can he possibly add to that?Last edited by togor; 07-29-2019, 03:17.Comment

You have hit the nail on the head, demoncrats don't want blacks to vote Republican at all. Demoncrats want to keep the black population on the socialist plantation so as to have their vote secured.

With the major news outlets, both TV & print, openly calling him "racist" dozens of times EVERY day, it's an exercise in utter futility. ANY reaction by Trump to the constant criticism of him by black political hacks is denounced as "racism." ANY opposition to proposals put forward by blacks is automatically, by liberal definition, "racist."Comment

Trump may try to pick off a few black votes here and there with divisive messaging, but that does not mean he needs or would want to work to get substantial numbers of black votes. Trump is a divisive politician with his messaging, and it has worked for him so far.Comment

You got this, CH? I once asked you to defined what you meant by "the American way of life is under attack" and you took a pass. Putting the idea down in words is sometimes hard, but it's what we do to get important things like laws, or a Constitution, or before that, a Declaration of Independence. And sometimes, articles of secession. I think I've explained Trump's purpose succinctly (and predict he'll repeat as necessary during the campaign). You have a better explanation? Put it to words.Comment

Doesn't it seem unusual that with the utterance of "go back" the 4 jumped up? One can be "born" here and be anti-American in deed and thought, evidence what the demoncrats are doing regarding the southern border and illegals. Many Black and Latino type Americans are in support of what the President is trying to do to safeguard our country. Demoncrats apparently disregard our Republic for "their" desire of a "Demoncratic" nation.
The President is making it so that those who want to work can, demoncrats want to financially reward those who won't to get a vote. Demoncrats are shifting from the common black person to the illegal as a new power base as Black Americans are getting wise to the demoncrats.
