Now, if someone wants to offer hyper-inflated estimates of costs, they are free to do so. But there is no reason for the actual costs to be any different than when other candidates visited the city. Taxpayers, local or national, are funding these in one way or another. Whatever makes him feel better.

Taxpayers pay for hobos to camp out in San Fran. No return at all. A presidential visit is an occasional thing. The poopers-on-sidewalks, is a daily thing infinitum. A presidential visit brings visitors. Poopers, not so much. I hated math in school.

years ago I used to go White Water Rafting

Gauley season, (water released from Summersville Lake,)

            mighty good times,

            anyhoo,,,

one year, the guides were telling us about a famous rafter the previous season,

seems George W took a trip,

besides the usually Secret Service entourage, and prep work, a SF team or 2 were dropped off weeks in advance, and basically lived in the woods along the river (not exactly easy if you have ever been) to keep an eye out while he went down river,

no one seemed to care about the cost, chalked it up as good training,

couple hillbillies were apparently worried about a still, or weed being found, but the guide said he had not heard that any was found,

Upper Gauley, this is probably the last weekend for it,

            good times
