I'll be sure to fill one out if that day ever comes.

And it's curious that the offenders do not recognise that they are the subject of this thread; at least judging from their replies here.

As for why we don't post in any of the other threads...Culver used to be the first forum I visited. Now it is #4 because of what has been said in the foregoing. I find the other forums post shooting related subjects, and if there is something interesting, or I may be able to provide insight, I do so there. Questions and answers are usually forthcoming quickly. By the time I check on here, I don't feel like diplicate posting. Go to the homepage table of contents, scroll to the right and see which threads have recent activity. Most have cobwebs hanging, except for the 2nd A.

Thanks to the previous admins, this forum and dinosaurs have something in common. I'm glad the other forums are actively administrated, with offenders warned, then banned. Best of all, any political discussion is off topic for shooting related. Keep that for the VFW or American Legion bar, not here.

Well, I stand corrected. I went back and looked at the forem home page, and it does indeed look like Lyman has been the reason for the house cleaning.

Lyman- Sure, all the other threads appear to have some current activity, at least until you click on them. There is a new veneer of activity, but if you look down in the posts, after 2 or 3 new ones, the next posts are months old. (Cobwebs)

As you said in your Moderation thread, you hoped others would begin using the other than 2nd A thread and try to breathe some life into the Maj's. Forum. You alluded to consequences for not following the forum rules, but I still see personal vitrolic attacks. You seem to have brought a little more civility, but in many of the trolls cases they just walk a thin line along the edge. These are my observations, and opinions. I observe a lot. And just because I have an opinion, it is not always expressed; unlike the trolls that live under the Maj's. bridge.

you make a very valid point, re walking the edge,

some here know how to do that very well, others not so much,

what continues to amaze me is those that cannot , get extremely upset when that line is shown to them, and what side they are on,,,,

                      thank you for your comments

Arguably two kinds of people here: those that can handle disagreement and those that cannot. In my line of work differences of opinion are normal and something to be worked through. I've known people who think in black and white terms. They go into different lines of work. Some people, if they have an idea, and someone else dismantles it, they get really mad. Suggested alternative: sift through the wreckage, figure out where it went wrong, and make a better idea for next time. Or: admit the mistake. Point is that there is a universe of alternate reactions besides getting upset because someone puts a dent in your shiney idea. If Geoffrey (the Cruel Conservative) was still around then he might agree.

Then there are some who don't understand that this forum leans mostly conservative politically but they continue to push their liberal views in an attempt try to close it down or have it lose viewers.

                            This forum is Pro-2A. Supposedly.

Who is arguing for greater gun control laws? Which President (EO or otherwise) has passed more gun legislation since say, 1980? NO ONE I see here.

There are different shades of political spectrum, if lacking the ability to see every step Trump has made as heaven sent makes you a hardcore liberal, then you cannot repair that divide I'm afraid.

                              .
and yet there is at least one that would be happy with more restrictions (and has said so on this forum, )

more may be OK to let some stuff slide, as long as others don't,, (looking at the shotgun crowd that does not like black rifles)

and sometimes, we can be out own enemy
