The media proclaim they have a sacred mission to keep the people informed. Somehow or other, the notion that mission requires telling the truth escapes them

Unfortunately it's all bad news right now. However that doesn't make it a lie. Someone's media reaction reflex is showing--if I don't like what I'm hearing then it must be fake.
