    Progressive politics

Last week, Philadelphia’s police department reported that criminal activity in the first three months of this year increased by double-digit percentages when compared with the same period in 2019—the most violent year since 2007. Another reason not to break the law: if you're in jail and something comes through, you might get it and die. I don't see letting people out if jail is the answer. But if cops won't enforce the law up close then yeah they'll eventually do it at a distance, with trigger pulls. Hopefully people get that.

I once asked one of my hard core criminals which he would rather face. A cop with a gun or a "citizen" with a gun. He said he would rather face a cop with a gun and I asked him why. "The citizen will shoot my ass and the cop usually won't!"
