my wife was talking about groceries and having enough a few weeks ago,

she was worried that at the time we did not have much meat in the fridge or freezer,

while she was chatting about it I was doing some dishes and looked out the window over the sink and watched 6 deer walk thru the yard and woods,, less than 10 yrds from us,,

I reminded her that dinner may be outside,,

she gave me that look, and then I told her to look out the window and remember I used to be a butcher,,,

she changed the subject

I do not know how to convince a woman that meat is not manufactured behind the counter at the supermarket.

I can remember when Africa was self-sufficient for food. And then Socialism came along.

by-the-by, I have never cared for Amazon. It's weird for me. I guess it's because I don't do facebook, twitter, instagram, ect. I use Ebay. I hate how rich they are getting but Chinese products work for me(saved thousands on vehicle repairs) and it's easy to figure out.

@ my age/infirmity I prefer to use my pre-warning Super Black Hawk as I need a walking staff for hill and dale. I am mainly a shootist not a dedicated rifleman, just the opposite of Quigley.

Chinese products work for me(saved thousands on vehicle repairs) and it's easy to figure out.
Ever car dealers use Chinese parts for repairs. All parts stores sell mostly Chinese, so I buy on line for about 50-90% cheaper. Wal Mart, Lowes, Home Depot, sell mostly Chinese products. If we stop getting products from China we won't be able to build/repair anything.
