No specific examples so no way to tell if someone just failed to read a post all of the way through. That happens a lot.

When asked to elaborate you pass. That settles it as far as I'm concerned.

because you are too self centered to look in your past as I have mentioned, related to your comments about me getting in the middle of something,

hope that settles it for you

Next time Red and I go at it,

so long as were not breaking any of the rules regarding insults, etc.,

you have the option of staying out of it

and I will try to do the same when it's you and Red

                  again,

                  short sighted,

who were the 2 that were the ring leaders for those that admittedly ran a lot of good folks off this forum?

do we need to dig up threads and rehash that again?

                  so,

next you and RED go at it, think about it before you start typing,

Red calls me every rotten name he can....still....new rules notwithstanding (not sure how he pulls that off but he does.)

I have, and still, call him "Red".

Some of those "good" folks you mention posted some pretty vile stuff, especially in 2017. Sysad had to clamp down on racist posts, not because of me, or for that matter, not because of Red.

Age of forum members, and a change in what is considered acceptable online behavior, are the main causes for the decline, in my opinion. It's possible some just want an echo chamber. But the Major was a free speech advocate. That much we remember.

                      funny

RED thinks I am on your side, you think I am on his,,

guess I must be doing something right,,,

those good folks I mentioned rarely posted outside some of the other sections,

free speech is what the Major wanted, but he also set the rules,

you may have your date wrong,,

You can ask SysAd when the need for the no-racism policy came along. But I would say late Obama early Trump was a peak period for such posts. Not a lot of people challenged such posts. I was one, and in fact, so was Red.

The Major's rule was "The gloves are off! If you can't take it, don't come in!" Those are not the current rules, are they?

nope, and that is not a rule, that is a comment or description about the section of the forum,
