point is....the virus is causing basically the same kinds of problems in every country, to different degrees

(to the extent there is a climate connection, we have much in common with Europe)

we can solve it however we want, as can they

so American methods, German methods, whatever works, whereever

but if they get their economy restarted and manage the outbreak, and we do not,

it's going to be pretty f*cking obvious to most people, because the kinds of jobs and entertainment activities people do in Germany are a lot like those in the USA, for most people

but sure there will be some that say Trump is doing a great job no matter what

maybe you'll be one of them

of course explaining how Trump is doing a great job when Gov Blackface sucks at his might take a little effort

    yep,

    you missed my point completely,

      no

your point is that they have different methods a different culture

      no one disputes that

but those differences do not mean we are not working towards similar ends, albeit differently

      do they?

maybe you and the Germans have different ideas of what it means to successfully manage in the face of the virus

happy to read how you want to see it go in the USA, or even your corner of VA

you attempts to be argumentative are for naught,

you are a Euro centric liberal,

so you look to Euro countries for the answers, but don't get why they may not work here, ,,

Clearly, he has not read Alexis de Toqueville.

I invite you to explain to me how our goal differs all the much from Germany.

Instead all you can do is throw yet another buzzword label at me.

If you have ideas, why not contribute them?

That's true -- every quote I see from him is a knee-jerk reaction, with no thought behind it.
