Liberals are trying to balance the damage of the virus against costs of the countermeasures, and see government playing a useful role. Conservatives are terrified of government playing a constructive role and are therefore plunging ahead as quickly as possible to make the conversation moot, deaths be damned.

So what???? Arkansas is is WAY better than NYC in every percentage that starts with death rates per infection... The reason is NYC lies about the numbers... If you are in a hospice dying from metastasis of prostate cancer, and test positive for COVID then your death goes on the record in NYC as "dead with COVID-19 virus.."
