tell us o great and enlightened one (sarcasm btw) what exactly Trump has to do with the police in any city or county?
going back to a post I made in a previous thread, since you are the smartest of smart,
who runs the police depts that are having troubles?
who is the mayor, or exected town official in charge of that area?
who is the governor of that state?
what have they done to fix any of this?
keep blaming Trump for all the issues, and you (and a few others) point to all the negative , yet you don't ask the why, or who...
your euro wannabe tendencies say that the President is at fault, just like a UK subject would point to the Queen or to the PM, or a citizen of France would point to Macron,
but you fail to realize we are a UNITED STATES, one President, but those STATES have rights and are Governed by each STATES own Governor, and each town or burb or county has its own elected officials that put the plans in place to cause these issues,
what are you doing about that? don't seem to care much about calling out whatever Sheriff , Mayor or Governor,, and lets add Senators and Congress Members too,,
just jump on the Social Media bandwagon and blame someone who has very little control over much of what you and others are complaining about,
anyone can stand around online and piss&moan,, but at least have the common sense to look at where the trouble is and who is in charge of that area,,,,Comment

Cop barely touched him with extended fingers of one hand; man obviously had some kind of balance or other physical problem, but wanted a confrontation anyway. Did he not see that squad of cops approaching him? Were the cops expected to leave him standing there while they walked around him?Comment

If they'd done that, he'd use that as another excuse. There's nothing more annoying than a grown man who whines.Cop barely touched him with extended fingers of one hand; man obviously had some kind of balance or other physical problem, but wanted a confrontation anyway. Lyman, in the case of the guy in Buffalo, Cuomo did call the guy in his hospital room and the Buffalo mayor took those cops off the street, pending an inquiry. It had been written up as "he tripped" and in the pre-video days that would have held up, blue wall and all. Police protect politicians of all parties, and so there is a tendency IMO for those politicians to blink when it comes to police reform. So it remains to be seen what comes of it in Buffalo. DeBlasio in NYC is trying to play it both ways, but eventually he too has to pick a side. As for Trump, his belief is order first, last, always, and if he could get away with it he'd go Full Maduro and bring in the 101st. Consequently no one expects Trump to be involved in any conversation regarding police reform. This is something for the people and police to figure out as adults while the would-be emperor hunkers down in his fortified compound.Comment
