Maybe we should disband the police and every one would obey the law

I like the post, Art. The thought that "police aren't what they used to be" has crossed my mind a few times lately, and again for reading your words. If there were more Arts out there today, then I believe it's a very different situation.

Is it me or do the guns come out of the holsters now much more quickly than say 40 years ago? Seems like somewhere along the way the protocol changed. As someone who takes a round in the chamber very seriously, drawing the weapon early strikes me as a major move towards the abyss.
