That thin blue line was caught on video attacking people who were peacefully protesting....excessive violence by the thin blue line. They brought this upon themselves.

The thing is, when the entire squad in Buffalo quits, then a broad brush is the right size. They're mad because they say the guys were just following orders. Which is true, they were.

The complaint about overly broad brushes, and trying to pin the failures on individual LEOs, deflects from the fact that in some places, policy is the problem. The orders, the training, the execution, all of a piece, are what give the result that leads to protests.

That's what you're missing.

The suggestion is the system is just fine, and it's misfires by individuals that create the problems. Well, no.

Red's examples of BS tickets was a problem with the system. The police, prosecutors and courts were doing what they intended to do. But that system was not fine.

If there becomes enough reduction in law enforcement and crime becomes more rampant than it is I feel we'll see more people taking the law into their own hands and not only protect themselves but others.

This may involve popularizing dormant groups such as the KKK. I wonder if this is really what the democrats want.

All you do is pick out and high lite isolated negative events and expound on them! I bet if you were on front lines as an officer you would change your liberal attitude real quick...
