    Protecting your private property

In an exclusive St. Louis neighborhood, protesters broke down the gate to the neighborhood and threatened a home owner. The home owner and his wife stood their ground with an AR15 and a handgun after the protesters threatened to loot/burn their home. No shots fired, but the home owners made the protesters back off. Now, a black Missouri prosecuter is gonna charge the home owners with breaking the law. What B.S. is this? Finally a white couple stood their ground and now faces charges? BLM is a racist movement pure and simple! It's time for ALL white citizens to stand up for their lawful rights!

The neighbor hood may be "exclusive," but the grim reality for whites is that they constitute 44% of the St. Louis pop. 'Nuff said? A hopeless situation for whites, who should sell out & turn the city over completely to the black rabble.

What a bitch! St Louis ranks as the deadliest US city with a murder rate of five times the US average. Seems like he could clean his own house!

The prosecutor said the couple defending their home was denying the crowd their right to peaceably protest, after breaking into the property.

This is what will happen under Democrats, if they take over.
You can keep your guns, (too many to confiscate) but if you ever use them to protect yourself
you'll be charged with murder no matter the circumstances.

I believe this is what has become of England and most all of Europe. While gun ownership is mostly illegal some people still own them for protection. If a gun is shot there is always someone who hears it and reports it to the police and they come to investigate. I read years ago of a couple who shot and killed an intruder in England. They were charged with murder.

The democrats can't even manage cities they've taken over and yet they want to control everyone else. Yeah, we all want to live in a NYC, Seattle, SF or Chicago setting.

They hopped the gate so they could go protest in front of the mayor's house. The mayor is a democrat and they had a bone to pick with her.

That detail not yet posted here so some context.

The pink and striped shirts were on the way to the mayor's house, and they made it about them. In the vids, you hear people shouting "keep moving", so as to not get bogged down with these people. You also hear drums. It turns out drums are recommended as a Covid-safe alternative to loud shouting at protests. In the videos I have seen, he has his finger smartly outside the trigger guard, and hers is on the trigger, and leveled at the protesters. People have been shot in self-defense for doing less.

Gotta say again, I really like his taste with that A2 clone. Possibly Colt-made. You just don't see enough of those.

Maybe the whites should go and riot over this, act like a bunch of barbarians and destroy everything in their own community.

If they ever do, they better not expect the lenience shown BLM rioters.

Slight correction..They damaged/ruined the heavy metal gate by tearing it down...

                        Did the gate commemorate anyone?

One could say it's a bad look for the mayor to hide behind a fancy gate like that.

                        Like Rumsfeldt said...freedom is messy.

                          does that matter?

if it was a gate (big heavy, or just a simple garden fence) on private property, and damaged, isn't that vandalism?

is a mayor entitled to private property like any other citizen?

Official mayor's residence in a gated community? Or just nice private diggs. It matters a little, but not something to dwell on.

I get people's problem with gate crashers. Gates are put there to keep people in, or out, and the idea that gates are getting crossed days widely and frequently has many people on edge.

And yes, smashing a gate leaves a bad taste in the mouth of public opinion.

Here's where it gets a little controversial for some--

Get through a gate, with some damage, to express one's freedom. Freedom, baby!

Ignore a county health order, open the bar anyways, lots of people come and drink and pass Covid along. Some people get seriously sick as a result. Freedom, baby!

Both expressions of freedom can bring costs to other people's insurance. In the end, gates aren't people though are they. Which is why I asked if it was a one-of-a-kind commemorative gate.

I have wondered how things might have gone if that couple had greeted the protesters with coolers full of ice cold 7-Up, or Sprite.

                              We'll never know.
