    Shootings surge across US over July 4th weekend and Donald Trump warns he's ready to intervene

    At least 32 people were killed in shootings in cities across the US during Fourth of July celebrations across Saturday and Sunday

    Shootings in New York City left nine dead and 41 injured over the weekend

    NYPD said two officers were injured in the Bronx late Saturday after a bullet was fired through the windshield of their marked SUV

    Shootings in New York City have doubled every week for the last three weeks
    In Chicago 63 people were shot, 17 of them fatally, in various bouts of gunfire

          The democrats, especially Biden, have the solution to all gun violence......ban all firearms! Of course that would apply only to law abiding citizens.

              I bet none of those guns were registered, At least to the current users..Which only proves gun control doesn't work...

                  No....it proves that HALF MEASURES DON'T WORK. That's your angle, the only logical explanation for you posting about gun mayhem in the cities. You can't lock up all the people, so you'll pacify the population through other means.

                              Hey you're the one beating the bushes of the internet for these stories. I figure there's gotta be some reason for it. A culture war with disarmament of the losing side is the obvious explanation.

                                  Wrong obvious explanation... Just showing how this country has become more violent lately both in terms of increased crime and how people are disregarding laws.

                                  PS, don't have to beat the internet as they are the main stories on almost all major news venues..And you know it!..

                                      Well if they're all over then why post? By definition everyone has an internet connection right, so they can see for themselves? What is the point of it? You're clearly wanting to whip up enthusiasm for something.

                                                  As I recall, Di Blasio was really POed when the criminals he released started committing crimes again -- in Liberal Lala Land, that wasn't supposed to happen.
