You can certainly have your own silly speculation about me, but yes specifically. Obama is a divisive and poisonous demagogue. Comparing Federal Law Enforcement who were trying to protect a church, and a federal courthouse, to George Wallace. Criticizing the closing of polling places when it's obvious that control over that decision is up to local and county officials who are overwhelmingly democrat and did so in many cases due to Covid restrictions, not ever due to racism..Painting cops with a broad brush in bringing up Bull Conner. Criticizing Voter ID laws with DNC talking points comparing them to Jim Crow Laws when it has nothing to do with voter intimidation or suppression. Most Americans favor voter ID and several European countries have universal voter ID. It's to protect the sanctity of the vote, nothing more. To claim that we are still suffering from the threat of Bull Conner and George Wallace at the federal level is the most irresponsible and race baiting trash coming from a racial minority who was elected President twice.

That is a substantive reply. Enough so to make me listen to his speech.

Regarding Portland, there is plenty of evidence to support an over-aggressive DHS response, the most obvious being that the Oregon State Police are protecting the property while encountering a gradual calming, night over night. Obama probably did his homework, made a few inquiries before writing that part of his eulogy. He certainly will understand the chains of command at issue. But I have to ask...is it really poisonous or divisive to remind people that there are still Bull Connors out there? (We have a few here at the forum, but for the fact they command nobody but themselves.) I fail to see how the basic message IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN UNLESS WE ARE VIGILANT is divisive, except to those who DO want it to happen again. If you see my point.

He was nothing, had no power or authority, without a police force to enforce his orders; no police power, no Bull Connors. So both Obammy & you are lying, unless you can identify ONE, just one, jurisdiction in this country with a law enforcement structure even remotely comparable to that which existed in the Bull's time. What does a MASH episode or anything else you said have to do with the TRUTH of what I pointed out, that your bringing up the Bull is yet ANOTHER example of your (& Obammy's) favorite tactic of setting up a straw-man to knock over? I asked you to name ONE town or other jurisdiction with a would-be Bull in charge of LE--you didn't for the obvious reason that there are no more Bulls left in this country (unfortunately!), so "warning" about them is merely a excuse to justify BLM terrorism.
