Anyhoo no the virus didn't start in a Wuhan lab. Nature's own biolabs are far more productive. Evidence points to the wet market. But it fills some need that some have for conspiracy to say "China did this to us". No! We did it to ourselves! Look at the timeline, what Trump was saying (no problems here) and what China was doing (locking down Wuhan tight). January was not so long ago. There were voices in government saying this was A BIG ONE but they were not listened to.

You know they decode the genome in virus samples, so they can trace the path of spread by comparing mutation signatures. People cheer banning of flights from China as some kind of bold step. But the virus in the US is primarily the one that came through Europe. A bit like bragging that half of the leaks are fixed in a tire, boat, roof, etc.
