I will add this to the debate for lack of a better word. Turns out the Chief editor for the Atlantic is a 110% Democrat. He hates Trump and has written a number of very questionable articles about Trump and the Russian connection. None of them were able to be proven, not a surprise. Now he comes out with this. Do you know who the owner of the Atlantic is? Why it's none other then Mrs Steven Jobs a big Democrat, widow and owner of the apple empire. A TOP donor to the Democrats to the tune of $1.2 Million this year so far. So does anyone need to say more? Again this is all FAKE NEWS and if it had ever happened in the past it would have made world headline BUT since it did not happen then it never did.

Tuna, you're missing the point. I get it that you really really don't want the story to be true but seriously the blinders have to come off AT SOME POINT.

Goldberg may have timed his story to damage the Trump campaign, and The Atlantic may have been a willing delivery device,

but magazines and writers who dislike Trump are commonplace.

Goldberg couldn't make a bomb without the explosive material itself, which came from Trump, and is not FAKE NEWS. He certainly wouldn't ruin his reputation on an unsourced story. Trump has also said and done plenty publicly that is consistent with this story.
