hold off on the kerosene a moment, let's see where this goesComment

On another board I visit a member who lives in Salt Lake City says there is a lot more to this story, the kid wasn't just throwing a temper tantrum, the version she heard says he was armed and attacking someone.Comment

I asked the question to someone I know in SLC on another board, that person mentioned the same,
and no protests due to the weatherComment

Much of what Togey states does not have the ring of being authentic, more like "Google" information. It's like you are talking to a foreigner who speaks American, yet how the phrase is said is not accurate.

proof or it did not happen,
oscars provided you with a link to some website that would help, maybe you should try it outComment

Immaterial @ this point as this thread is turning into a he said, she said argumentation.
Regardless of what anyone offers Togey will refute it in some way to prove that Togey is always right.

besides what we already know, (togor thinks he is the only one right, ever) if you want to refute the comments, then spend the time and effort to do so,
otherwise it turns into what you claim, he said, she said, etc
exactly my pointComment

In answer to your question about his being guilty even if proven innocent, then I have to say that not being charged with a criminal offence does not preclude his being deemed too dangerous to be armed and employed as a police officer. I find it hard to believe that any police force would want to employ someone whose judgement was so impaired that he thought it was appropriat to shoot an unarmed running child in the back.Comment

I spent over twenty years dealing with mental illness/chemical dependence based on my experience and education. Judges and law enforcement in many counties accepted what I offered regarding my client without having to prove anything. This is not a court of law but an open forum where anyone can offer opinion based on what? Often third barstool down conjecture. One can either accept what I offer or reject it, it makes no opinion to me one way or the other.
I will continue to offer my opinion based on my experience/education and the reader can agree or disagree that is the reader's option.

Another local report. Mother was driving home at the time she called the police explaining the situation.

Still waiting on the body cams. Might be good to get the 911 dispatch tapes too. More than once the dispatcher has failed to pass along important info to the responders, with tragic results.
Quote in the article from the former SLC police chief:
If we cannot respond as a police agency to a 13-year-old child who has autism without shooting him — I don’t know if we should be in this business.Comment

The problem is, where's the Due Process? He might well be unsuited for police work. He might well be a murderer. But he's entitled to Due Process -- a formal charge or accusation of some sort, and a defense.Vern

Once we abandon that principle, no one is safe -- we all exist at the whim of the rich and powerful.Comment

Togor being anti police started this thread and event and will go on and on with it.. Never good stuff they do... One event out of thousands the police respond to without any problems but Togor will latch on to this one and wear it out....Do we think he has a problem with police? and if so! why?Last edited by rayg; 09-11-2020, 07:09.Comment
