Togey, many here have been questioning many of your statements. As to seeing a doctor, is yours a psychologist or psychiatrist? Clinically speaking I hope that it is the later and medications are being administered. One hope that Togey is taking the medications as directed to feel much better.No. It's because it's in the first paragraph. Good grief, if people can't read the statute and understand it then what business do they have forming and expressing opinions? If the language below is hard to understand, see your doctor immediately.
Translated, punching a guy back is one thing, blowing his guts out is another under Wisconsin law. There are states where "I was scared so I started shooting" is a defense. Wisconsin is not one of them. And Wisconsin does have a castle doctrine law, but it does not apply in the middle of the street.
Moreover, the statute clearly defines such use of force as a privilege under the law, and explains where the privilege does not apply. For example, after the first shooting, as the kid was running away, other people may reasonably assume that he is an active shooter, and taking him down is a reasonable action for public safety. For those shootings he faces an added burden of asserting privilege. He had the option of dropping the weapon if he was taking himself out of the fight, but he chose not to do that. All in all a tragedy, this kid's life is not going to go in the direction he hoped it would go.

If biden had a son (in a basement) it would look just like .....Togey, many here have been questioning many of your statements. As to seeing a doctor, is yours a psychologist or psychiatrist? What a dumba$$ comment. I guess this is suppose to insult me? Dying of brain cancer does not mean the person was stupid while living and people pretty much look the same soon after death as they do while alive.
But nice try coming to togor's/your defense.Comment

Here is the link to the statute, 939.48
While reading the statute notice that it refers to self-defense as a privilege, not a right. Not a lawyer but would expect that shifts the burden of proof somewhat to the shooter.Comment
