Ray, true or false: MAGA boils down to: f*ck everyone who doesn't agree with us.

    TRUE.

There's no coming back from that whole.

        Why would you irritate me?

I tell you, the boy is decompensating. By November he'll be foaming at the mouth.

Sounds like Cato the Censor, he was known for ending every speech with the words "Delenda est Carthago"-"Carthage must be destroyed !"
It is the Democrats who are trying to turn us into an adhocracy where the rules and procedures are made up as we go along, on the spot.

You mean like the 2016 "no SCOTUS appts until after the election" ad hoc rule? It's a mirror not a window that you're staring at.

And the irony was, Carthage was no longer a threat to Rome -- she was destroyed out of pure, irrational hatred.

The actual words he used were, "Ceterum autem censeo Carthaginem esse delendam" ("Furthermore, I consider that Carthage must be destroyed")

Why should he acknowledge something that is a given?

RED can say anything he wants about ruining the country, but nothing will ruin it like a President that refuses to accept an election law, and a corrupt party that abets him. If the worst case scenario comes to pass, the real traitors are Trump, RED, and everyone else who goes along.

hate to trivialize the seriousness of the situation with a sports analogy, but if pitchers decided they did not care if the umpire threw them out of the game or not, and
proceeded to throw at each new batter, and bats came out of the dugout to be used as clubs, then the enterprise of a baseball game is lost. The point being that the rules can only be pushed so far before the common enterprise falls apart. But that feels like where we are now, that a Conservative movement that begin in the 1970's with idealism then turned to pragmatism, then cynicism, has now embraced fatalism. Get what is there to be had now, regardless of the future consequences.

It was a stupid question... Had Trump answered yes, the headlines all over the news would be "Trump concedes the Election."

Now how about you? Would you say the Democrats conduct a peaceful transfer pf power in 2016? HELL NO! THEY HAVE YET TO CONCEDE THAT TRUMP WON

A coup détat run by the defeated incumbents criminal cronies imbedded in your cherished ïnstitutions. Today's violence, rioting, burning, looting, and shooting is all being done by Democrats as an extension of the coup... and you are one of those treasonous criminals and should be rounded up tried and executed along with your handlers.

Red is was a gimme question. Trump just has to say "of course peaceful transfer of power is one of our cherished traditions as a country" and drive on. But he's so programmed for winning at all costs, irregardless of what long term damage he might do. It's fair to say he is emotionally stunted, doesn't understand that treating the election like a Manhattan zoning dispute is a terrible thing for the office, for the country.

And yes the transfer of power in 2016 was peaceful.

Remember, the standard now is: what would republicans do? In 2008, the republicans fought Obama like wildcats at every step of the way. Trump should expect nothing else, running as he did in a polarized time, and hawking himself as an aisle-crossing "dealmaker extraordinaire". Notice he's not running at all on his dealmaking skills in 2020. No hunt in that dog, never was.

Your statement: they have yet to concede that Turmp (typo but I like it) won is COMPLETE HORSESH*T. They have analyzed up one side and down the other how empty acres gave Trump's coalition a structural advantage in the electoral college. One doesn't do that if they are disputing the election results in the first place. Hillary won the popular vote, Trump eked out an inside straight with some ultra narrow victories in WI, MI PA. The only disputing left from 2016 is the fictitious claim that voter fraud is the only reason Hillary won the popular vote. Again, attacking the foundations of our system of self-governance out of vanity. I suppose being a traitor for money would be worse, but being one for vanity is pretty bad too.
