Just realize this Togey, 4 more years of President Trump. President Trump has great support from the American people who will vote for President Trump to stay in office. Togey you can rant and rave, protest to your hearts content and President Trump will still be in office.
Polls??? Yea right, the same polls that said Hillary would win in a landslide and didn't.

Trump ideology is taking strong hold on American life, the turning from the left and govt. overburden to the right. The ideation of less government in your wallet and more of you keeping your own money. People needing to work for self and govt.com not. Less and less power to the left as more people want to keep personal power. Of course there will be people who are comfortable living enslaved that has been the same for centuries.
MSM can keep crying wolf and no one is listening to their continuing lies.

When has the Stooges ever been right? They are still pushing the proven lie about Russians changing the results of the 2016 election.
I told them back in 2015 that Trump was a shoe in to win and they laughed their asses off. Hillary by a landslide and she was absolutely going to win by over 100 electoral votes.
Fools, liars, traitors, thieves, murderers and absolutely insane fools. Trump has already won this election and they are going to cry their eyes out when the SCOTUS finally rules in 2026. Thats how long these liars are going to take to understand pitiful their accusations are.
This election is hinged n how many mail in ballots the criminal Democrats can manage to forge. They will have to wait until they determine how many fraudulent votes they will have to find in the boot on a Wells Fargo Stagecoach in Tucson to elect Kamala Harris President..Last edited by RED; 09-24-2020, 03:36.Comment

Let's see now, wasn't it Hitlery who told Sleepy O'Biden not to concede under any circumstances? Sacred tradition????? The Demoncraps haven't conceded the 2016 election yet!!!By refusing to publicly acknowledge the sacred tradition of PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER as the bedrock principle of our self-governing republic, Trump disrespects the foundations of the country himself. RED can say anything he wants about ruining the country, but nothing will ruin it like a President that refuses to accept an election law, and a corrupt party that abets him. If the worst case scenario comes to pass, the real traitors are Trump, RED, and everyone else who goes along.
I hate to trivialize the seriousness of the situation with a sports analogy, but if pitchers decided they did not care if the umpire threw them out of the game or not, and proceeded to throw at each new batter, and bats came out of the dugout to be used as clubs, then the enterprise of a baseball game is lost. The point being that the rules can only be pushed so far before the common enterprise falls apart. But that feels like where we are now, that a Conservative movement that begin in the 1970's with idealism then turned to pragmatism, then cynicism, has now embraced fatalism. Get what is there to be had now, regardless of the future consequences.Comment

Al Gore did not concede on the night of the election and went to court to fight the result which drug things out for weeks. John Kerry and Hillary Clinton didn't concede on election day. In close elections, and not just for President, it is not unusual for a candidate to refuse to accept the results, Stacy Abrahams who still doesn't accept her defeat in Georgia by 50,000 votes (close but not razor's edge) still calls the speech in which she gave up the fight to be governor her "non concession speech." The fact is, very close elections are sometimes have contested results, and that is what Trump is talking about.
The chance of this election being over on Nov. 3 is almost non existent. Both Penn. and Nev. citing the pandemic, are going to allow absentee votes to be mailed up to and including election day. In Penn. votes received 3 days after election day and in Nev. 7 days after will be counted. If this election is close at all, and it almost surely will be there will be contested results in several states and the fights over smudged post marks and matching signatures could go on for weeks, maybe months.
This is media hype, sort of like the story about Trump calling soldiers "suckers" which has been debunked and even Jeffrey Goldberg who published it in the Atlantic has backed off a bit admitting the sources could have been better.
I will certainly admit that Trump's cannon of a mouth does provide plenty of ammo for his detractors, his ability to come through it, though rivals even Bill Clinton.
I remember there were people on this forum who said first Clinton and then Obama were going to find (or fabricate) some emergency they'd use to continue in office after election day. I said that was baloney at the time and the idea that Trump will have to be dragged out of his office on inauguration day is as well.Last edited by Art; 09-24-2020, 05:04.Comment

We don't know what Trump is talking about, Art, so nobody should try.
The best case scenario is that he's just blowing hot air as a way of "working the refs", and no one will listen to him. But the business of temping GOP legislatures to piss on their own state's election results and award him a slate of electors outright is far more sinister and corrupting.
Al Gore fought hard but ultimately did concede before a full-blown constitutional crisis enveloped. Neither Gore, Kerry or Hillary spent the run-up weeks trashing the voting process itself. We're the F*cking United States of America and Trump, like a common gutter rat, accusing the states of not being able to run elections, like we're some sh*thole country doing this for the first time. That merits a substantial STFU but nothing but cowards in the GOP, save maybe Romney on occasion, and everyone here knows how they feel about him.
Abrams ran and lost in Georgia. The problem with Georgia is that their elections of late have been the most corrupt anywhere. For awhile the purely electronic ballots, changing voting totals was as easy as fudging a box in an Excel spreadsheet, now the eff'ed up attempt to go back to paper. And guess who ran the election? Her opponent! And by some amazing coincidence, Georgia concentrated their voting places in the white suburbs, away from the rural black areas and cities. So if VWB (voting while black) in Georgia, you had a much longer line. No one can blame her for wondering if the fix was in then, and again in 2020.Last edited by togor; 09-24-2020, 05:04.Comment

Gore did not concede out of some higher motive. He conceded, sort of, when the Supreme Court told him it was over on December 12. The Constitutional Crisis was in full force long before that.We don't know what Trump is talking about, Art, so nobody should try.

Art is probably correct, in that Trump's trolling comments and media hysteria are unlikely to result in a squatter at the White House.
Unsubstantiated fraudulent mail in ballot nonsense is a neat trick in the event he loses, that way he won't be responsible in the mind of his ardent supporters.
If he doesn't win reelection, and his GOP campaign fails in attempts to appoint electors in battleground states, there are a few popular methods that come to mind for his physical removal. Sign me up.

A couple things.....he's willing to sow doubt among the base, the Q-idiots, as a vanity act to cover his loss, uncaring as to what long term messes he makes.Art is probably correct, in that Trump's trolling comments and media hysteria are unlikely to result in a squatter at the White House.

Trusting GOP state legislatures to do the ethical, responsible thing is a poor insurance policy for safeguarding the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power, especially when Trump is involved.Comment

I'm cautiously optimistic. I've also been stocking up on reloading components, for one reason or another.Last edited by Roadkingtrax; 09-24-2020, 06:25."The first gun that was fired at Fort Sumter sounded the death-knell of slavery. Another euphemism? I have heard "it" called many things in my 20 year career of working with drug addicts and this is a new one on me! Guy's don't let Trax "snow" you as he does himself.

Someone please let Sam know what reloading components are. Small rifle primers in particular.
