This is all craziness. Toerot and the other America hating idiots have no idea what they are telling us. BLM rights are more important than the law or common sense.

They are telling us that if some dope head tries to take a cop's weapons, no big deal! Let him have it!!!! After all that's his right and all he could do is kill a few people including cops. Every real progressive thinks cops don't matter. We need to defund and get rid of all LEO's so BLM members can peacefully go around and kill people... mostly blacks.

The cops have zero right to go home to their family after a shift beccause their lives are 100% meaningless.

Stupity gone berserk!!! Gid rid of cops and what do you get... Vigilantes! That is their goal to spur the development of the replacement for the defunct KKK. The new BLM vigilantes will be called the BBB (Black Brothers Bothership).

But in my case, the question is fair: what might these cops have done better in this encounter?
actually, if you look back at what you type,

LOL, I ask people hard questions, that they don't want to answer, can't answer. So....blame the questioner for having a bad attitude! Sometimes the hard questions just need asking.

Ray, to your original question....why can't people just follow instructions? Well, we have the public we have, with whatever issues plague them. At some level even police departments have to make adjustments to what is going on out there. Otherwise they run the risk of adopting the sort of bureaucratic mindset that put nanny-state liberalism in a deep slide of popularity....this idea I'm from the government, I tell you what to do, and you better do it. Now there are people out there who do want the police to make other people do what they want. But that's not really the function of police either, to take sides in social disputes. It's a tough job for sure.
