    Cops are leaving Democrat states/cities.

Cops are leaving Democrat states/cities. And it will cost more as will have to pay more per officer to keep them

Policing levels across the country are already down 6% from a decade ago - as expert warns of 'cop deserts' with more officers fleeing the job

Analysis of police employment data shows sharp decline in staffing levels
US had 219 equivalent full-time sworn officers per 100K residents last year
That is down from a peak of 232 officers per 100,000 in 2009, a 6% drop

Now, police attrition is hitting new highs, leading to fears of 'cop deserts' as well as
Cops in major cities are leaving for western towns, or quitting the field entirely

So there's such a thing as an expert in the migration habits of police officers? Who knew?

Doesn't take brains to figure out leaving dangerous jobs in Dem controlled cities or going to less dangerous ones in places not run by Dems...

Cops are leaving democrat ruined cities and states. So are the citizens. The areas are being taken over by illegals, homeless, mobs, gangs and other democrat "types".

No wonder the democrats want to do away with the electorial college.

Turnover can be good for organizations. Bring in fresh blood, new ideas.

Retiring or just leaving. Retiring is one thing like myself. I could not take the cold anymore. Turned out to be the best thing I ever did. But if officers are active duty and picking up stakes and saying see you then there is a growing problem for those cities. Wont be long before the quality of those officers remaining will drop as will the replacements. Then the cities will start using a sliding scale to make poor candidates look better. Now don't get me wrong. There will still be some that are dedicated to the job who will remain but the pickings will be slim. I can see the likes of Chicago or Portland being divided up by the gangs into sections and being run by them.

                  That's already happened in Portland.

As police leave the big cities they can hire "councilors" to take their place.

That began when PDs, like the military, were told "you MUST recruit women."

                        not just retired cops,

damn yankee's is what they are called,

move south to get out of the cold, the high taxes, crowded cities, etc,

and immediately start complaining cause the bagels or pizza is not good, I miss my (insert northern item here) etc etc

best I heard was someone who moved in close to a shooting range, that has been there since the 40's.
"I moved here to get away from hearing gunfire"

well, either you did diddly of a research of your neighborhood, or your realtor did not tell you,,

most forget I95 runs north too

Like moving next to an active Airforce base. You didn't notice the F-16's?
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

Or buying a house downwind from a chicken farm -- then trying to get the county to pass a zoning ordnance to close down all the chicken farms.

Or buying one near a shooting range, & then trying to get the town to pass a zoning ordnance to close it down--not hypothetical, it's happened many times & more often than not, the range looses. Big property developers vs. some barely break even range? No contest.
