Many similar Brit-produced shows--that cute thing Lucy Worsley has done almost 40 of them: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls041354600/ Unfortunately, these are seldom run in prime time, & not on any regular schedule--they are used to fill in blanks in a station's schedule.
However, don't compare such "history" programs with dramas, esp. contemporary dramas. But even a literary classic that you might think "untouchable," like Les Miserables, is subject to being willfully perverted by BBC's commitment to shoving PC down our throats. Nothing is off limits, or rather nothing pertaining to WHITE culture is off limits; black culture...naturally, that's sacrosanct!
