Gun violence soars in NYC over last year

A crime wave hit New York City this summer, with the number of shooting victims and shooting incidents rising as of November 22, NYPD Compstat reported 1,704 shooting victims compared to the 840 recorded during the same time last year. That's a 102.9 per cent increase.

Shooting incidents rose by 95.8 per cent so far this year with 1,386 shooting incidents - up from 708 up to November 2019. The murder rate increased by 36.8 per cent increase with 112 more victims in November 2020 than in November 2019.

Chicago also.......At least 3,465 people were shot in Chicago through Oct. 31 this year, a 56% increase from 2019, which had 2,221 shooting victims during the same period.

In NYC or NYS? How would that be possible under a State Dictator who's filed multiple lawsuits to defeat Trump's programs & exec orders? To name just one, ICE, for all practical purposes, can't operate in NYS due to state interference.

What he's pointing to is common. A governor of one party touts his own record of job creation, but somehow the President, or mayors in his state, of the opposite party, had nothing to do with it.

It's why politics is such an awful line of work.

Trump, Bush, Obama, Clinton etc have nothing to do , short of signing a EO or Fed legislature that crossed the desk, with the violence in NY, or NYC,

the local police should enforce the rules, if the city asks for help the state should step in,


NYC or Chicago or Baltimore or (add one here )need to look at city leadership, then state leadership, not feds,



unless you really want the president to be a dictator or 'Leader of State' and have control over all of it,

Why don't YOU point out the dots leading from NYC to Trump. The state & city have done EVERYTHING within their power to obstruct his policies. For ex., when the state started handing out NYS driver's licenses to wetbacks & other illegals (so they use them to register to vote), ICE tried to obtain driver's license records from the DMV, but was REFUSED. If ICE attempts to raid some workplace harboring wetbacks, any & all cooperation with local LE is forbidden by state law, & the employer will be tipped off if possible. And of course NYC is the biggest sanctuary city in the country.
