You think this hack didn't happen because the NY Times reported it?

An opinion piece written by the sort of guy who reporters would interview for an article. Instead of sending a reporter out, he came to the newspaper.

Nonetheless, FireEye reported the hack themselves.

          Keep those blinders up.

A minor incident sensationalized out of all proportion for the explicit purpose of maligning Trump. Kind of thing that happens everyday. I read it--what catastrophe has happened? NOTHING worth mentioning!

Meanwhile, the REAL crime--the Chink's theft by hacking of US military & industrial secrets--the Times ignores.

So you're a cyber-expert and have decided that this is not news.

                  Okay.

Here is a link to a non-alarmist, non-political description of what is known about the hack so far.

For a moment, it looked like we might get to end 2020 on a relative high note for cybersecurity. Then came SolarWinds.

Non-alarmist because there's nothing to be alarmed about. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED! Calling it a "tempest in a teapot" would be to exaggerate its importance..
