I'm more important then anyone else!

Line-jumping' AOC, 31, says she got COVID vaccine before frontline workers and elderly to 'reassure Americans it's safe' as she hits back at critics including fellow squad member Ilhan Omar

She has also come under fire from Rep. Ilhan Omar who branded it 'disturbing' that lawmakers were before frontline workers and the elderly

The Democrat socialist came under fire after she got the first dose of the vaccine Friday, with many accusing her of jumping the cue and she defended her decision and slammed the GOP for downplaying the pandemic and undermining 'public faith in science, masks & COVID itself'

She said lawmakers need to try to build confidence in the vaccine

'Gee, maybe if the GOP hadn’t spent so much time undermining public faith in science, masks,& COVID itself, I wouldn’t have to...' she tweeted

AOC was responding to a tweet from Senator Rand Paul where he singled her out for going ahead of elderly people and healthcare workers

Ocasio-Cortez, 31, detailed getting the vaccine on her Instagram story Friday

Have no use for the woman. In this case, she did what was best ... act to establish confidence in the vaccine. No different than when Elvis got the polio vaccine. For the record, when the vaccine is available to persons in my risk category, I will take the vaccine. It is not so much b/c I think myself at great risk. It is b/c of the role I play as a pastor modeling responsible leadership to the people in my church family and my local community. JMHO. Sincerely. bruce.

Re: Best. Like I said, she is not remotely someone who I consider admirable, etc. But, whether qualified or not, when one is in a position of leadership it is necessary to lead regardless of whether or not the decision one makes satisfies everyone. Time will tell if her decision is or is not wise. But given that she is the representative elected by her district and given that a lot of the members of her district are at risk, she has acted to encourage confidence in the vaccine so that vulnerable people will go ahead and get vaccinated. In that I cannot fault her. Sincerely. bruce.

Total line jump. And neither the first or last example of government VIPs, like cabinet secretaries, getting excelsior-class Covid-19 service. They're even giving the good sh*t to the Rudys Giuliani when they carelessly get sick.

She set a fine example of Socialism in action -- the government decides what's best for you. And what's best for you is for them to be protected and to live in luxury.

Has any member of congress died of Covid? I haven't heard of any and very few getting sick from it. The media only reports on a few republicans that have caught it.

Bruce , you made a very important statement and that would be .... Responsible Leadership .... something the United States has been sorely lacking these last few years

                        There are two problems here:

If it were important for members of Congress to take the vaccine first, why wasn't that part of the priorities list?

And a leader is supposed to share the risks and hardships of others, not push to the head of the line.
