Which gets at the problem with leaving it to the states to figure out on entirely their own--fifty separate learning curves.

Feds really ought to have led the way on this one.

I remember early in the pandemic, Vern expressing confidence in the CDC to guide the country's response. Who knew at the time it was a shadow of its former itself.

Wait until Oh So Slow Joe takes over. Everything will move into warp speed for sure. According to Joe there shouldn't be a vaccine now anyway.

The rollout of the coronavirus vaccine in New York as explained by the governor Andrew Cuomo has been criticized as a 'woke-left, centralized approach' that is dangerous to the American people.

The comment was made by the publisher of a politically conservative online magazine, The Federalist's Ben Domenech, who is unhappy that drug addicts will be prioritzed over the elderly.

Currently, after those in urgent care along with doctors and nurses administering the COVID-19 vaccines, shots are to be given to the residents of drug rehabilitation centers, ahead of the state's elderly population.

Gov. Cuomo has faced fierce criticism after more than 6,600 nursing home residents in New York died from coronavirus during the height of the pandemic. The true number of deaths could be anywhere up to 11,000, according to an AP analysis, as health officials only counted residents who died on site and not later in hospitals or other facilities.
Boy, that one just hit a few nerves I'm sure. I'm surprised Comfort Dogs aren't first in line. Who doesn't like dogs? We like dogs better than drug addicts. Old people? Who needs em? Wait, I'm old... I can just imagine all the angst and anger being churned up. My Mom Died!!! It's really hard to please people. I tried right clicking the DM and got an instant fifty ads.
If I should die before I wake...great,a little more sleep.

I guess you forgot that Big Ears was playing a lot of golf too while his entire family toured the world on our tax money.

Guess you haven't looked into it.

Trump and family have taken 12 times the protected trips that the previous president and family did...in two terms.

Protection is important, but let's just be honest Tom.

If lawmakers don’t lift the cap, about a third of the agency’s agents would be working overtime without being paid, agency officials said.

BS, That's because of all the dozens of rallies he had..and his larger family, not his golfing and vacations, and he only was out of the country a few times..
Oh and what about all those out of country expensive family trips the Obama family took which cost plenty for their agent protection and their and agent hotel coverage....Lol

                            Ray, in a word...no.

In more than one word, the campaign reimburses the government for costs for political activities. That means air time on AF1, the Secret Service, etc. They're supposed to reimburse local governments too for police overtime, etc. But weekenders in NJ, FL, the SS needs a big entourage. You're suprised that Trump has a lavish lifestyle that burns through cash? I thought this was part of what you admired about him--successful guy who isn't afraid to enjoy the fruits of that success, and feels no need to trim his sails just because he took a government job, for which he doesn't even bother to collect a salary. All that and you're surprised he has a high burn rate for security? Did you not get the Trump you thought you were getting? I know I did.

Shows when it started to be a excessive problem on the taxpayer. Oh, who said international trips? I didn't expect him to visit places he was never invited. It's the emotional support rallies that added up.

If you're going to bag on Biden, you better step up your research.
