    Jen PsakI

The few times I have tried to watch her briefing I have had to turn to something else. I feel like I am sitting at a funeral home and the funeral home director is starting the service.

Psaki does her job, which is to explain the administration positions on the issues of the day to the press.

McEnany was there to tell the press to eff off, while wearing sleeveless dresses and exceptionally long false eyelashes. Basically a Fox News job description.

Based on previous comments made, Dogtag liked Sean Spicer. To each his own I say.

Softball and confrontational are not polar opposites. A substantive question can be asked and answered without it turning into a confrontation.

"How is our country's First Lady doing?"* is an example of a softball question. Not a lot of those in play right now.

She has already told the press, she will only answer questions that are submitted in advance. No asking questions on the fly that the press secretary hasn't had time to research and figure the best way to spin the answer. I don't remember any of Trump's press secretaries demanding the questions in advance. If I would have been given the questions in advance to every test I ever took, I would have had a full ride scholarship ride to any college of my choice.

                      Not quite.

Yes they did query reporters ahead of time, for the given reason of being better prepared on the topic areas when the questions arise, but this is not a case of only taking written questions submitted in advance. Moreover, as the Post article cites, the practice has precedent in prior administrations.

Listening to her speak is like listening to a 3rd grade kid who speaks for the first time in front of an audience! Lots and lots of "UMMM, AHH, ERR, etc.
And she is dismally a failure at her "job"!

I worked for someone like that once,

every 3rd word was um or ah,,

we had to do 'huddles' every morning before opening,
discuss yesterdays sales etc, and what the goals for today etc etc

5 minutes, and I counted 115 ums and ahs,

sad part was we (management types) were taught not to ever use those words,

take 5 minutes to prepare what you have to say and you won't need them as fillers
