Question for Art, since he's willing to put some thought into his posts.

What contrasts, if any, did Trump draw between our country, our system of government, and Russia's?

We know the contrasts Biden would draw. But what about Trump?

No, but Biden will sure as hell make a "deal" that will benefit his family and America be damned!

You know, there might be a cure for your case of cognitive dissonance.

Frankly I don't know the "contrasts Biden would draw" because he hasn't drawn them. I do know that Biden is a "squish." He is the guy who didn't want to kill Ben Laden, and the guy who just referred to Putin as a "worthy adversary," and the fellow who last week greenlighted the Nord Stream 2 pipeline (Trump fought it tooth and nail) which will increase Europe's dependence on Russian fuels which is absolutely not in the interests of the US.

I checked with Brookings on Trump's relationship with Russia which was decidedly adversarial. The Trump Administration, beyond harsh words, sanctioned Russia, and Russian big shots financially 15 times during his first three years in office and expelled a total of 60 Russian diplomats. He also exited the INF arms treaty since Russia was regularly violating it in plain sight.
