A friend of mine got together with some co-workers and they all went to school to skydive. It was an all day class. They were buckled in to the real parachutist. When they got to the ground all the guys were high fiving and my buddy was laying in the dirt trying not to puke. But he's always been susceptible to motion sickness. He can't ride in the back seat of a car.

But there are inconsistencies at times that smack of the arbitrary, or an agenda.

For example, here you are dinging me for past use of one label (j-- b--) in the same thread where you are teaching others how to get another (st-----) past the word filter.

Lyman it's reasonable to expect the boss mod can articulate a names/labels/insults policy then stick to it. Other forums pull that off.

So for example is "st___es" in or out?

Is "j_g b__d" in or out?

Is "racist" or "bigot" in or out?

To me, "discuss points not personalities" suggests that all of the above are OUT. Interested to learn if you agree.

I wonder how many here actually know each other face to face? There may be some but I doubt they are buttong heads here. I don't know anyone here, I'll never have lunch with them, so what anyone thinks about me here means nothing to me. I believe folks worry too much about what others think.

Nothing said in this forum will change anyone else's opinion; that's been demonstrated over and over. Nor does it matter outside this forum. Opinions are like assholes: everybody has one, most people sit on them, only occasionally "showing their ass", others feel they have to moon everyone arround.

For all those that feel they have to comment on others imagined spirious comments; you are as much the "problem" as they are, feeding the dialogue.
