Two boys: Your the Taliban. No, your the Taliban. No, your the Taliban

Dad: OK you two, knock it off. No one's the Taliban. Where'd you hear that?

    Little boy: On the internet.

Where have we seen this before? Not quite the same. Not too much damage done if you insult a state.

I actually oppose this piece of legislative trickery, not because I'm pro abortion, I'm not. I dislike it because its a sneaky attempt by the government of Texas to avoid accountability and I hate a sneak. Don't expect the law to outlast the first lawsuit filed under it by too long.
Art we can agree on this view of the legislative tactics even as we have differing views on the underlying objective (abortion legality).

As other have pointed out, it would be a terrible thing for gun owners in blue states for this tactic to pass legal muster.

        When you're right, you're right. Texas Taliban...lol.

Police in West Texas this week arrested a man who allegedly targeted a couple - killing the wife in the process - because of their political beliefs.

Texas as a Pariah State. If they continue down this road, it will happen. Then again half of Texans (slightly more?) may decide they have had enough and decide to take back their government. Point being, Texans themselves have a say in what happens to their state.

Hard to say what's going on there. It could be that the established "Caliphate" in Texas is pulling in like-minded folks from apostate lands like Cali.

In any case two places I am glad to not live, and for which the feeling may be mutual!!

Your turn to be humor-impaired apparently.

And here's where you now tell me that you knew my mind better than I did.

Carson's Carnac the Magnificent act wasn't real. Those hats don't work.

one would think, with your history, that you would use a [sarcasm] [/sarcasm] when you post that ,

                    or [ha ha] or similar,

otherwise, you appear to be insulting,,, since you are know to dislike the south

The Dems have been saying that, that Texas is on the cusp of at least turning purple, a la Arizona, for 25 years, yet the "Rs." still hold every statewide elected office, and both legislative houses. Texas could turn purple and if it does it will probably be because of "left coast" immigrants. They are going to need that because as of right now they're losing Latinos.

You're right, and it looks like a pipe dream. But they must hear the footsteps, given the election law changes.

So Texas stays R....unless the extremists overreach, and can't be reeled in.

No doubt Texas Right to Life means well, but there's a Stasi-like quality to their anonymous tipline.

Real Californians aren't moving to Texas.
