Right now non Christian faiths often get special treatment.

I'm not a big one on trimming Constitutional sails, I like them full, we just differ there.
Are there any religions that you think are so batsh*t crazy that the idea of giving them equal time in the public sphere with yours gives you the willies?

Again, the Establishment Clause is a 2-way firewall in a world where sects don't play well together.

Need an example where non-Christian religions are getting a leg up so I see what you see.

So Wiccan stuff? Yeah that can get a little fuzzy. There's not enough of them to have a big parade, but they can ruin the parades others would want to have. Parade being a metaphor, in case that isn't clear.

But imagine a Mosque going up a block down from your place, embroiled in a fight with your zoning board over their minarets. My point being, there are surely one or two religions that you are glad the Constitution protects you FROM. True?

Low hanging fruit, I know, but a religion nonetheless.

And nobody here wants to see Sharia Law anywhere in the USA. I remember the talk, not so long ago.

If Christians can't see how the Constitution protects them even as it limits them, they're not paying attention. Not that different than your home is your castle, your neighbor's home is his.

That's what you say when an argument doesn't go where you wanted it to go. Pretty obvious what you were after there and it was never in the cards.

I hope Art checks back in. His posts advance discussion whereas yours try to derail it.

                  nope, wrong again Mr Sensitive,

I had some time and did some research on then and they have been treated as both a cult, religion, and somewhere in between,

and not just in the US,

so as I said, grasping at straws,

you make a comment, someone asks you to provide an example and you either ignore it or get upset when questioned,
