Are Americans becoming a bunch of sickies ? ...

Seems to me that the upcoming generation has become more
susceptible to viruses such as flu than previous generations were.
Flu has always been around and as a kid my Aunt got a dose of it.
She was staying with us at the time yet none of us caught it -
parents, 3 siblings. myself. Flu is aches and pains plus a high fever.
I suspect most cases today are merely a bad cold, if not than why
are so many catching it ? Maybe feminism has convinced mothers
that breastfeeding is sexist. Baby food does not pass on the mother's
immune system which equals a kid with little to no resistance to
whatever the latest virus happens to be. It probably doesn't help
having a maniacal aversion to germs either. Germs build immunity.
The World's dirtiest Man died of old age at 94. He hadn't washed
himself for over 70 years. Age killed him, not germs.

    I dunno.

I think people use to push themselves more. People went to school and work sick as long as it wasn't too sick as in "giving it to everyone else".

Employers generous sick leave and "can't come to work if you're on these prescription drugs" policies have led people to take off with the least little sniffle or to just call in sick because they were hung over or playing hooky.

With all the new "foreign diseases" and illnesses that we eradicated decades ago coming back to life with all the illegals, people worry when someone shows up for work sick so they are encouraged (usually with pay) to stay at home.

Also, with the tremendous overpopulation we have now illnesses spread faster than before.

Yes! Yellow bellied cowards that are afraid of offending murderers, child abusers, and above all there is no longer something called a perversion. In the Philippines there is a cult that uses monkeys. They whack off its head and use the squirming body as a sex toy. Thats okay with the Woke crowd.

Perversions are loved by progressives. They see no harm in mutilating 11-13 year old girls, to change thier genders. They are too young to quit school, they are too young to leave their parents, too young to be an adult, but not too young to have a double mastectomy that will forever end her choice to breast feed a child.

Sick, Hell yes, these people are totally insane.

The democratic administration is definitely full of perverse mental cases! Joe is the biggest pervert and pedophile!

Unless you have proof, I suspect that that statement is libelous and would render you subject to a lawsuit. "Perverse" is a matter of opinion but "pervert" and "pedophile" are matters of fact.

Between the hippies in the 1960s and then AIDS a lot of ailments and diseases that were deemed vanquished made a comeback. In my Army days there were the "issued" cold, flu viruses and the like that always lingered because people weren't getting their proper rest, GIs with the flu on KP. With the disappearance of the 2-parent family and stay at home mothers kids get sent to school and spread their germs. Companies that are too quick to fire people and a lack of personal and sick days means people come to work when they shouldn't

              Not likely!

If Banana Joe were to sue one of us, HE would have to get on the witness stand and answer questions. And he DEFINITELY doesn't want to do that!

I have been taking Vitamin C for about 25 years-and I am 73. Linus Pauling was right it DOES work. I am out in the weather, bicycle year round-and I live in Central NJ. Several families I recommend it to have told it works wonders, the kids aren't bringing cold home from school, etc.

I'm 81 and my wife has severe Alzheimer's. I am NOT going to go that way -- the strain on the kids is too great. There are some studies that show Viagra reduces the chances of Alzheimer's by 69%. I got my doctor to write me a prescription -- and it does wonders for the circulation, too.

Boy that's a "hard" choice to make!

Not so hard -- the other choice is unacceptable.

With age comes softness and sometimes Alzheimer's so yes the choice would be hard. Not hard to make, just hard.

I spend 4 mornings a week at the gym and walk quite a bit. I'm still able to hustle 50-pound feed bags and do about everything I could 50 years ago, albeit a bit slower.

Good. Hang in there and I'm sure you devote a lot of energy to your wife's illness needs too.

After 20 years of rotating shift work and averaging 4-5 hours sleep a night my health is wrecked. What little I do is all I can do.
