I'll go out on a limb and suggest that the uniparty, (repub and dem, they are not as much 2 parties as they want us to believe) want a war, or at least some limited engagement (more that ukraine) to keep the military/industrial complex rolling, however they also want a really good ESG score and to make the powers pushing the buttons happy by having the most diverse and inclusive military they can

My proposal is simple: Form two Infantry companies, one male and one female. Have them carry everything an Infantryman carries in combat, including ammo, grenades, flak vests machine guns, 60mm mortars and so on (that's over 90 lbs.). Start one company from the top of Mount Katahdin in Maine and march south along the Appalachian Trail. Have the other start from Springer Mountain in Georgia and march north.

See where they meet.
