    Wow, my nephew died today.p

He was 59 years old. It was a thyroid problem that morphed into a kidney failure that morphed into a heart failure. His mother died when she was 61.

Bottom line... these were good people. Only the good die young! If you want to live a long time... be an as-hole!

I'm going on 80 years old. I drink a pint of Rye Whiskey every day and am enjoying myself!!!

I did sh-t that 99% of people cannot believe. I came within a millisecond of dying in 1968. (Documented by Martin Baker in GB).

I think all of us as-holes, need to keeping on, and keeping on!

Don't forget the one who bought a waterfront house at Martha's Vineyard and preaches that the sea's will rise.

Red, my wife would thoroughly and without hesitation, completely agree with you. Sadly we lost our youngest son this past August; he was only 41 years old and died of complications related to the chemo-therapy he received for his leukemia diagnosis as a youngster. I'm 74 years old, celebrated my 50th wedding anniversary last month and my wife believes I am the biggest as-hole on the planet Earth.

I suspect that there have been times when all of our wives have felt that way about us. Having said that, we celebrated our 53rd anniversary last week and she's stuck it out with me all this time so perhaps she's finally accepted my peculiarities (including my firearm's hobby)

Average life expectancy for men is 76. I'm 82, six years past my "sell by" date.

In this case there's a big difference between "expired" and "sell by" dates.

That's true. I'm making plans for my next hundred years.

At 182 that "sell by" date will be followed by "see I told you so".

I don't plan to live forever, just longer than anyone else.
