I have a HK91 (SR9). I prefer its iron sights for some reason. The hole in the rear sight with the globe front sight and a round bullseye makes it easy to line everything up. The only thing I found to take some practice was putting the bolt back together after cleaning. It's a very well made, quality firearm.Comment

G3/91 has VERY positive extraction and ejection, and the return to battery is authoritative as well. Beats the cases to hell without the ejection port buffer. The fluted chamber is great for reliability and cooling, but it's also tough on the cases as well.Comment

Liam, those are beautiful rifles but I was talking about the tortoise (Schildkroete) with that interesting shell...see Gunner's avatar! Yes, I traveled quite a lot in (West) Germany back in the days when my command of the language was better. I haven't been to Bayern in 24 years and must return.Comment
