we went cold turkey, from Comcast HD with a pile of movie channels ($300 a month, and watching maybe 10 channels) to internet only,

we already had netflix and Amazon prime, and added apple TV

wife got tired of no hallmark and no local TV (antenna did not work here) so she did get hulu to keep her hallmark fix,

I downloaded pluto TV (free) and watch star trek and some others on that,

I dumped my $120 a month satellite TV about five years ago and don't miss it a bit. Since I have Amazon Prime anyway, I only pay $2.99 a month to keep my Prime TV ad free, I addition I subscribe to Paramount+,I cancelled Hulu since pedo Disney took them over. I like British Detective shows so subcribe to BritBox and Acorn. Netflix is probably a good buy at $9.99 but I got sick of trannies in my face every time I opened them. I spend much of the day watching Real America's Voice TV and have a lot to watch in the evening. I use and Amazon Fire Cube and a search turns up a huge variety of search. You can also get live TV on it. If you hate Amazon, ROKU also has a nice box with plenty of things not necessarily available with just the TV.

we do the britbox acorn thing in spells to watch the shows we cannot get elsewhere,

        brit wise,
        MI-5 (called Spooks in UK)
        Luther
        Marcella
        River
        Broadchurch
        Wire in the Blood
Bodyguard (keeley hawes as PM or some such, short season)
        Life on Mars
Ashes to Ashes (must watch Life on Mars first to get it)
        Dept Q

and a pile more I am surely forgetting

also, since we (wife and I) are rewatching before season 3 drops, The Diplomat,

          great show stars Rufus Sewell,
who was also good in a Brit show, about and Italian policeman, called Zen,

another UK favorite of ours is The Great British Baking Show,
season 10 or 12 starts next week, IIRC,

Paramount + is showing season 2 of Tulsa King. Just watched episode 1 and really like it. I'm not a big Stallone fan, but he does his part justice. SW
