Having said this, I realize that to argue ANYTHING POLITIC with these “progressives “ is absolutely pointless. They will staunchly and resolutely defend any point advanced by a fellow democrat unto death.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record: "using the ignore list is like odorless bug spray". Ignore the pest and they will leave or at least shut up. We are basically all on the same boat here with the exception of the stooges who are trying to destroy what's left of this forum. The site crashes, needless political arguments, threats of being banned due to what some call racist comments and now the new site has left just a small number of regulars here. If we don't do something it will get worse till the site is probably closed. The stooges will call it a job and move on to the next conservative forum to destroy. Ignore them and we can continue to communicate with one another as intended. I held off for a long time but now use the ignore list and it works for me.
