Several years ago due to a very bad injury, I was prescribed massive doses of Oxycontin (probably couldn't happen today given the media-manufactured hysteria!) for a period that lasted about 5 months; as the pain gradually diminished, I stopped using it even BEFORE my last prescription was exhausted.

So you believe, I take it, that Loretta Lynn's husband should have been prosecuted for impregnating her at the age of 15? And millions of similar cases.

The point YOU miss by light years is that, beyond the age of puberty, there exists NO timetable for "reasoned consent," unless you can explain how "reason" is magically acquired at the age of 18. And if "reason" means "good judgment," at what age is that acquired? Epstein in his 60s clearly hasn't acquired it, nor have the thousands of adults convicted every day of insanely stupid crimes.

"Reasoned consent" is part of the same LIBERAL, nanny-state agenda that absolves teen-age killers & gang-bangers of the responsibility for their crimes, & makes "victims" of drug abusers, so it's not surprising you endorse it.
