No school records for Trump?
No school records for Trump? Heres what the National Public Radio had to say in 2015 about his 5 years at a military school.

Oh come on. Scale matters. I pay my accountant by the hour whether he saves me $1,000,000 or $1,000. The point being I can afford a lot more digging if I stand to gain that much more. Next you'll tell me that rich people don't getter outcomes in the justice system than do the poor, because justice is blind, especially to the color green, and the entire Enterprise of Justice is soberly based on objective evidence that no amount of money can touch.Comment

Those are anecdotes, not grades. Allen says grades are important. So get with the transcripts, will ya?No school records for Trump? Heres what the National Public Radio had to say in 2015 about his 5 years at a military school.

But this quote from the article:So even then, Trump was an asshole. Now you love him because he's your asshole, but no mistake, years later, a Lifelong Asshole."My bed wasn't really made right, and he ripped it," said Ted Levine, another student who roomed with Trump at NYMA.Comment

not really, you are no different than trump,Oh come on. Scale matters. I pay my accountant by the hour whether he saves me $1,000,000 or $1,000. The point being I can afford a lot more digging if I stand to gain that much more. Next you'll tell me that rich people don't getter outcomes in the justice system than do the poor, because justice is blind, especially to the color green, and the entire Enterprise of Justice is soberly based on objective evidence that no amount of money can touch.
you pay a person to do a job, and they do it to your satisfaction, you pay the price, and move on
only real difference is you are paying one person, he is paying multiples,
just maybe if you ran the percentages the actual cost for you both may be the same,,,,,
the rest of your comments are irrelevant to the conversation at hand,Comment

Oh come on. Access to resources matters. Access to money matters. You're telling me this isn't the case?Comment

you are arguing a point that does not matter,
does
not
matter,
scale is meaningless,
how much money he spends on accountants, I or you spend, Sam spends or Obama spends is irrelevant,
the fact that we all have varying degrees of funds to spend is also irrelevant,
he is a citizen like you (I think?) and I, how he spends his cash or does his taxes is his, and the IRS's business, just like how you do yours is not anyone else's business,,Comment

no, I understand that money opens doors, and buys things,,
I also understand that folks work to get that money and have the right to do what they want to with it,
you imply that after a person (or one in particular) makes a certain amount, they should be required to pay more taxes on it,, but they have it and other don't,,Comment

Not implying anything. Go to the other thread and read the definition of loophole. I'm saying that it isn't a social good for people to use their vast wealth to evade the intent of our laws. We may recognize that living with the disease is better than taking the cure, but it doesn't mean that loophole exploiters like Trump and his friends should be recipients of our admiration for their ability to hire lawyers and gin up tax dodges that you and I could never have. If you want an Exhibit A, look at how Trump used his charitable foundation until they made him shut it down.
"You like Rich Guys Who Exploit Loopholes now" gets the point across much more quickly, when said sarcastically.Last edited by togor; 09-04-2019, 01:44.Comment
