@ the academy the Prosecutor told us that EVERY ROUND we fired we were RESPONSIBLE for where it went and what it did. If what we did was illegal the color of law would be applied. Ray, you will get no where with Togey, he argues with his reflection!

And of course you approve of all the riots and lives lost and criminal damage to innocent people. For this one incident....Justice will be done in the courts with it. But the rioters don't give a poop and neither do you. All you want to do spout your dislike for police..Would you be honest if I asked you, how many times you have been arrested or had negative contacts with the police you felt were unjust . Yes police die in the line of duty. How does this excuse what that guy did? You need to watch the video.

Someone at gunboards posted a stat, that police kill 4.5X as many people as mass shooters, and 99% of the time they get off. That 99% stat can be read a couple of ways.

The way the Supreme Court has it, if a cop feels afraid, he has a license to kill. Chauvin will claim fear in his defense, but when you watch the video you won't see a scared cop anywhere in sight.

NPR recently reported that white officers were no more likely to shoot minorities than whites. Furthermore approximarely twice as many whites were killed by police as compared to blacks. Another report that appeared in the PNAS stated that between 90 and 95 % of those individuals shot by police were in the process of attacking another civilian or a police officer. Strikes me as ironical that neither of these sources will be mentioned by Don Lemon on CNN.

Those stats leave a lot of room bad outcomes of the sort that simmer in the public mind, especially in this era of cheap video surveillance. But probably worth repeating that police have a messy dangerous job and most outcomes are passably close to going by the book. The debate is over what excuses should be allowed and by whom when things go south.
