Entire SRT in Buffalo resigned from the squad due to what is happening to them, in Louisville entire shift walks out on mayor who was about to address them at the start of their shift. Mayor was also booed as he entered.
Many cops will now cut back on enforcing any law due to what can happen to them and society will suffer.

Let these s**thole 3rd world democrat cities waste away w/o law enforcement. As a push against Trump they have already stated they don't want the Army or National Guard involved.

@ least the Mayor had the good sense to let the cops have a hearing instead of doing the politically correct thing. On the film I saw nothing that the cops did wrong and reports are that the old man was told to move several times. What happened is on the actor's head, not the cops.
If the knee jerk reaction is to punish the police for incidents like this, cops will just cut back and look the other way. Why get punished for doing your job? Why try to "Protect and Serve" to get keel hauled when you do it?
