Ray there's no "there" there on the Biden Keystone truck thing. It's on a par with saying someone wants to return to the moon to corner the market on Green Cheese.

Togor, remember when I brought up that explaining anything higher level is like trying to teach a Missouri mule how to tap dance.
Maybe some of you geniuses could explain to me how the federal government could force a PRIVATE entity to monitor, upgrade and validate their software systems to prevent hacking.
send a federal contractor out with a clipboard, pen, and checklist,,,,,,,,

Regardless of what is/isn't paid is mute at this point. Companies that pay the ransom are just setting up all of US for the next time and there will be a next time. 5/m is chump change to say 20-40/m next time. Instead of gas it could be the electrical grid and then what? Perfect time to hit would be in the middle of summer and then hear people scream!
"Millions for defense, not one penny for tribute!" is not in the current American psyche. Increased cost of everything, shortages, drought, illegals being welcomed in and not to mention the pandemic America is in for a time no one wants to see. Best of all America has a current administration that is well equipped to handle any emergency that is handed to us.

Just came back from town, gas is now $3.05 up .17 since this morning. Was $1.89 last fall and at this rate will be over $4.00 by fall! Yes, slo joe has accomplished much to help stop green house gases from cars.

^^^Did anyone take note?^^^
Colonial said they would NOT pay a ransom after they already had!
Love Biden or hate him matters not, Colonial paid the ransom a week ago. They've been toying with the decryption code while the spin doctors play with smoke and mirrors.2016 Chicago Cubs. MLB Champions!

I think that you folks are spoiled. Here in Ottawa (Canada), gas is currently selling for $1.29 CDN per litre. That translates to $4.06 (US) per US gallon
This incident does however demonstrate just how vulnerable our Western society is to computer disruptions. I mentioned a few months ago that I had written a novel on the subject and published it on Amazon ("An Oral History of the Pulse") and I can tell you that the more that I researched the subject the more frightened that I got. About 10 years ago the US Government did a study on the subject and concluded that if the North Koreans set off two nuclear bombs at an altitude of 400 miles, one over Western NY and another in the US South West, the entire North American electical grid would fail and be off line for at least a couple of years.
This really should be a wake-up callComment
