except the car makers - but not racing fans.
I grew up watching Moss, Fangio, Collins and Gonzalez whizzing
around the track, overtaking and being overtaken. Later it was
Senna, but when it became obvious that races were decided in
the Pits not on the track I lost interest and stopped watching.
I found that kind of racing was boring because the guy who got
out in front at the start usually stayed there. Fans followed drivers
not the cars so what interest could there be in driverless ones
except as I said, the makers ? But if no one watches or cares,
then of what use is a victory ?

They're taking the fun out of everything.
