Zelensky wears a sweater to meet the President ...

So, he doesn't even bother to dress appropriately,
and his address to Congress will be "Give me more money"
God, I can't stand this SOB.

Dressed in blue jeans white socks, baseball cap, and with a mask and plastic gloves is what he should wear and hope none of the latrine germs and viruses Biden is infected with do not rub off on to him.

Sometimes you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Remember when the "Big 3" automaker CEO's flew to DC to ask obama for loans and he said if you can fly in your private jets you don't need money too awful bad?

Not taking sides on this because but we don't know what Zelensky's war torn home life is like. He may be living out of a suitcase and be very limited to clothing /clothes washing and such. Either he wears that same shirt a lot or he has a bunch all alike. He too is asking and asking for a LOT so appearing in a nice suit or tux may not be as appropriate as being dressed like a beggar.

That's his military dress under the circumstances and if you don't like it I'm sure he could care less!

If Biden gives him these advanced weapons it will
only escalate the war. Zelensky is determined to get
us actively into his war. I think he's deliberately
inviting a nuke which he'll probably get if he attempts
to oust Putin from the Crimea.

You must be a follower of Tucker Carson as I just read an article on how he is against funding Ukraine/Zelensky's war any further, citing the need for the funding to stay in US. My thoughts on this are, if our country can pay ongoing money to non working US citizens as well as, the many thousands of the non citizen people coming into our country and which currently are both costing as much as helping Ukraine right now! At least our money and the money from other UN countries which are providing to Ukraine is helping to prevent Russia from forceable expanding it's influence and power and is reducing Russia's finances with out any cost of lives to us!

His sweater is effectively his civilian uniform. He is leading a country at war and clearly wants to look like his fellow citizens, many of whom have lost their homes and all their belongings. He could wear a suit but then he would look like any other useless politician. Instead, he is being a leader

Putting all personal preferences and opinions aside, both countries are corrupt but the Ukrainians are lucky to have Zelensky right now. If he is killed who would take his place? If Russia were allowed to annex the region what would happen to the people? Russia doesn't take great care of their own people, even the soldiers are doing w/o food and reliable armament while being expected to fight. It's always been like that including shooting their own troops if they tried to retreat.

This last move though of giving him our Patriot Missile System is pushing us to edge of a conflict with Russia. I'm sure Putin is mostly hot air since he can't beat the Ukraine but he warned us about this a week ago.

Unless things have changed a lot what I've read in the past said we don't give away our Patriot Missile System technology, we don't even loan it out. If need be we would send the system to a country that needed it but it would be manned by U.S personnel and returned afterward. If this is still true this puts us on the battlefield. At the very least our people would have to train them. That still puts us in conflict.

Dictators who are also Presidents wear Military uniforms.
                          It's done for intimidation purposes.
Pants and sweater does not constitute a uniform.
In my day, had I been seen abroad dressed like that
I would been arrested by the MPs.

FYI, the Saudis, the Emirates, NATO, and the Israelis all have Patriot missiles.
