We can afford that. It's not like we're depleting the ammo supply.

If we're killing Russians by proxy, what better use is there for our ammunition? American factories can ramp up ammo production faster than Russian women can ramp up baby production.

But they aren't. I'm all for supplying the Ukraine but we shouldn't cripple our own security doing so by depleting our supplies that are not being restocked (democrat budgets).

Then the answer is to restock, not to stop or reduce our support to the Ukraine. After all, we built up those ammo stocks to fight the Russians.

Do we know this as a fact that we are not producing more!

I never said different. But if re-stock isn't going to happen then yes, we should not let our inventory get too low. Right now the Ukraine has one threat. We have many and with reduced capacity we would invite many more.

On a side note, some have mentioned that Russia will next invade Poland. Maybe. What if they do? Poland is a NATO nation, we will aid them. What with the way things are going?

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Monday that Ukrainian forces are using significantly more ammunition than the alliance's members can produce, putting a strain on Western stockpiles. "The war in Ukraine is consuming an enormous amount of munitions, and depleting allied stockpiles," Stoltenberg told reporters ahead of a NATO defense ministers…

No, but we know the current Administration is corrupt and incompetent.

Speaking for Vern, yes, the chit occupying our WH.

Democrats traditionally starve the military in order to finance their pork barrel projects that benefit them and only them.

Bill Clinton is constantly praised about balancing the budget. He did it by using military funds. This and his giving/selling military secrets to China is when they caught up with a lot of our secret technology.

And they lock their pork barrel programs in -- they can never be canceled.

Every piece of literature I read or hear about that mentions "climate change" tells me what side of the fence they are on.

The side of the fence where the pork is, of course!

I bet we are currently manufacturing or giving out contracts to to replace what we are giving to Ukraine! Not to do so would be foolish and I believe even the Dems know that!

Hopefully so but all indications are saying they can't keep up so us and others are giving up their own surplus.

Don't forget what "foolish" and corrupt administration we have. Since they don't care about the economy and our borders they sure don't care about our national security.
